What’s a moment in your life that felt like it was straight out of a movie?
Nearly every date or relationship I’ve had has made me question whether I’m actually the female version of Mr Bean, or worse, whether I’m trapped in a dating version of The Truman Show.
Because surely dating can’t be like this for everyone.
From profile pictures that were clearly over twenty years old, to Batman mannequins and everything in between, my dating life has felt less like normal romance and more like someone keeps resetting the same ridiculous episode with a slightly different man.
I wish it was all fiction.
Sadly, my dating life is more like a cross between Groundhog Day, Mr Bean and The Truman Show, with me as the very reluctant star.
And honestly, I would very much like to speak to whoever is in charge of casting.
