Quick Q and A!

What job would you do for free?

Working with elephants would be right at the top of the list, but not in a zoo. I mean at a sanctuary, like I did in Thailand, where they’re cared for properly and treated with the respect they deserve.

Anything involving the ocean would be there too. Scuba diving trips, snorkelling trips, or taking people out to swim with dolphins. Being out on the water, seeing marine life up close, and sharing that experience with other people would never feel like real work to me.

And then there’s the slightly random one, but very on brand for me… an archaeological dig for dinosaurs. I’ve loved dinosaurs for as long as I can remember, so getting paid to dig around in the dirt looking for ancient bones sounds less like a job and more like a perfect day.

Basically, if it involves animals, the ocean, or dinosaurs, I’m in.

Dream job🥰

We visited an elephant sanctuary in Karnataka, India some years ago. In the poo-filled lake with the mother elephants and the wee ones, washing them. I was like a pig, well human in shit. In fact I was. 😃🐘
