Quick Q and A!

How would you improve your community?

Right now, community feels different to me than it once did.

I’ve sold my home, I’m travelling for a year, and I’m planning a move overseas, so I don’t really have one place or even one country that feels like “mine” at the moment.

So for now, community is something I try to create as I go.

It’s in the conversations I have along the way, the people I meet, the stories I hear, and the small moments of connection in unfamiliar places. It’s about engaging with the world around me, learning from other people, staying open, and trying to be a good human wherever I am.

Maybe community isn’t always one fixed place. Maybe sometimes it’s something we carry with us and build, one interaction at a time.

I like that idea – of us carrying community with us. A great attitude to have. Enjoy your travels – that wee mantra will serve you well, I’m sure. 😃
